Akram R. Elias, 33°, is very
active in the Grand Lodge of Free And Accepted Masons
of the District of Columbia and the Scottish Rite
Valley of Washington, DC. He is recipient of
the Valentine Reintzel Medal for outstanding service
to Freemasonry awarded by the Grand Lodge of the District
of Columbia. In addition, Mr. Elias is a
member of the various York Bodies of Freemasonry,
the Ancient Arabic Order of the Noble Mystic Shrine,
and The Royal Order of Scotland.
Mr.
Elias, who is a naturalized citizen of the United
States of Lebanese origin, has authored numerous articles
on Freemasonry and is world speaker on the topic of
“Freemasonry and the American Great Experiment”.
He is the winner of 3 Telly Awards for having written
the treatment for and co-produced the documentary
entitled Mr. Dreyfuss Goes to Washington
with Academy Award Winner Richard Dreyfuss in 2001.
